Technologies for rule/learning-based analysis and determination of intervention policies in hierarchical bio-navigation
In this research, we will develop methods for (1) rule and learning-based analysis and (2) determination of intervention strategies for hierarchical navigation research. In study (1), we will develop analysis methods fused with rule- and learning-based models to elucidate the behavioral diagrams of individual interactions of humans, crabs, dragonflies, and other animals, in cooperation with the A02 Cyber Team. In addition, data measurement and model verification will be conducted together with the A01 Physical Team. Then, we will explore new hypotheses and behavioral patterns based on behavioral data mining. In study (2), causal inference from the data and verification of the intervention effects will be conducted with Team Maekawa of A02-2 and the A01 Physical Team. Through reinforcement learning, in which the reward is set to the desired behavior, we will explore automatic selection methods for intervention strategies. Simultaneously, we will collaboratively work with the Cyber and Physical teams on the development of the wearable/environmental χlogbot to implement the above methods. This is expected to automate the experimental cycle and lead to verification and elucidation, even for behavioral diagrams with a large number of parameters.
